What it's all about...

Sight-Read to Succeed was designed to prepare students for the Texas UIL Orchestra Sight-Reading portion of the Concert & Sight-Reading competition. Each level contains dozens of rhythm rudiment exercises, as well as scale warm-ups. Also featured, are twenty-five short exercises for the ensemble to practice their sight-reading skills.

The books are divided in two; one for levels 1-3, and another for levels 4-6. Your campus' conference assignment will determine your level. Each level begins with a list of criteria the ensemble could possibly see in the sight-reading room. Nothing outside of the criteria is utilized, so there are no surprises!
